	Jacqueline Parker Editor-in-Chief Jacq has a combined background in advertising, public relations and writing with a strong interest in career, lifestyle and travel stories. As a 20-year veteran on the single scene, Jacq has experienced all the peaks and pitfalls of this ever expanding terrain. solomag is the result of a Northern Ontario chicks cottage week and was developed on a dock with chardonnay and a group of great, single girlfriends. This magazine is a great opportunity to share these experiences and to open up dialogue about the truths and opportunities that relate to being single.

	Genevieve D'Souza Managing Editor Geneviève brings over 20 years of award-winning media experience to solomag. A Journalism graduate from Ryerson University, she has worked as a writer, reporter, TV producer and speaker. She owns G Communications, offering media-friendly promotional strategies for businesses looking to increase their exposure. Geneviève brings her business-savvy skills and a refreshingly genuine style to the magazine.

	Louise Evans Writer/Contributor Louise Evans is a corporate communications professional with 20 years of experience helping business leaders convey information to their employees, suppliers and customers. She has won several public speaking contests and is an experienced presenter. Louise has been using her strong writing skills for speeches while also coaching business leaders to deliver their messages effectively. Louise is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Ryerson University.

	Jessica Gilbank Writer/Contributor Jessica Gilbank has been in the automotive service industry for 12 years working for independents such as Volvo and Mercedes-Benz. She has recently opened the first all girls auto repair shop @ College Street and Bathurst in Toronto - it's the first of its kind in North America.

	Ashley Hargest Writer/Contributor Ashley Hargest is a Chartered Accountant and a Tax Manager at Stern Cohen LLP. After spending three years specializing in tax for private businesses at a national accounting firm, she joined the team at Stern Cohen where she works with owner-managed private businesses and individuals. She identifies tax solutions that best fit their needs and saves them money. Ashley takes pride in getting to know her clients, often helping them through financial stress and confusion. 	Asif Khan Writer/Contributor As a full-time realtor and Top Producer at RE/MAX All-Stars Realty Inc., Asif's approach to real estate has made him a mentor to agents and the 100% Club Award recipient. In order to keep current with market trends and technological advances, Asif regularly attends trade-shows and professional business development courses.

	Irene S. Levine, PhD Writer/Contributor Irene S. Levine, Ph.D. is a psychologist and award-winning freelance journalist and author who has written hundreds of articles - covering a range of topics, including health, mental health, relationships, travel and lifestyles - that have appeared in leading magazines and newspaper. My contributions to Solomag will include instructions for simple projects, an introduction to new and existing products that will enhance the enjoyment you get out of your living space and tips for quick, inexpensive fixes for common home repair problems.

She is currently the Manager of Nutrition Education for Jamieson Laboratories, where she helps to educate the public about natural supplements and their therapeutic use. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University.
